The word Astrology comes from the early Latin word astrologia, which derives from the Greek ἀστρολογία — from ἄστρον astron and -λογία -logos —

Astron in Greek means both star and light, or body emanating light.

Logos means word or sound.

Astrology is the study of light and the bodies that emanate light, the stars and planets in the night sky.

Light is energy, vibration, sound.

So, we can say that Astrology is the study of the language, or music, of the Heavens above.

 

Evolutionary Astrology is a tool that can be used to tune yourself to the musical harmony of the Universe. It consists of using an astrological birth-chart to identify the individual's situation in the development of Consciousness. Through it, it is possible to trace what the Soul carries from past lives, and accordingly, the evolutionary lessons for this life.

The birth-chart refers to all that conditions, the starting point and the possibility of a human being's growth. Conditions refer to a base from which one can operate in any direction by making choices; By contemplating the birth-chart is possible to see the character of this base conditions, the past and starting point, what one is as one proceeds.

 

For me Astrology is a symbolic language whose function is to evoke possibilities of changes in the process of growth and transformation witch his human life, and to deal with the meaning of the successive phases of this process from birth to death. For me, Astrology is no more than a map to yourself, and to your Soul.

 

My approach and use of the language of Astrology is not one of a  merely mundane predictive function, but instead it serves to identify and analyze cycles in the life of the individual. It is a tool we can use to explore the complexity of the psyche and provide the individual with a clearer realization of his or her Soul's evolutionary purpose, helping the individual use his resources in a more beneficial way and to shed a light on his personal and unique path in life. 

 

The astrological methods that I use to study the birth-chart are mainly based on the studies of two astrologers, Dane Rudhyar, the founder of Transpersonal astrology, and Jeffrey Wolf Green, founder of Evolutionary astrology.

 

An Astrological session with me has the main function to evoke possibilities of change emerging out of a new and more inclusive way of understanding not merely a particular situation or conflict, but the need or opportunity for transformation the situation suggests or underscores. Astrology is a magnificent tool in this regard because it serves as a map and helps us trace the path of the person’s Soul; The main question that drives this kind of  orientation is: “What lessons must one learn when going through a particular experience?”

To understand the present we must take in consideration the past; and to choose wisely and create a better future, more aligned with our Soul needs and with who we truly are, we must first understand the present patterns, desires and motivations.

 

Evolutionary Astrology unveils the ‘why’ in these patterns and offers insights and guidance into a Soul’s evolutionary path, enabling one to self empower and create a reality reflecting the Soul’s deepest desires and intention for this life. +
